    Paso Robles Animal Rescue

Connie Peterson has devoted her life to rescuing and looking after animals. For three decades she has committed her time and energy to sheltering, spaying, neutering and offering medical care for a variety of dogs and cats. Loving Care Pet Sitting Services would like to tell pet owners and aspiring pet owners about our collaboration with the Cal Poly Cat Program (CPCP). Sadly, many of the students who study at California Polytechnic University have a tendency to adopt cats and abandon them once they are done their schooling. Instead of leaving these animals to a life of desperation, misery and danger, we ask that you consider adopting one. Connie Peterson’s Loving Care Pet Sitting Services would like to showcase these cats to those in Paso Robles, Templeton, San Miguel and Atascadero and across San Luis Obispo county, who are interested in opening their homes and hearts for a new addition. All of these cats are spayed, vaccinated and neutered and they desperately need loving owners to take care of them. The power is in your hands to give these animals a full and loving life. We at Loving Care Pet Sitting Services and the Cal Poly Cat Program (CPCP) are committed to matching these animals with those in Paso Robles, Templeton, San Miguel and Atascadero CA who want to make a difference in their own lives and those of these animals. We are also grateful and wish to thank those in San Luis Obispo county who have already done so. Connie Peterson's belief about animal rescue can be summed up by Anatole France's saying; “until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.” Connie has definitely poured her soul into Loving Care Pet Sitting Services and her dedication has produced a long list of repeat clients and referrals. Aside from working with the Cal Poly Cat Program (CPCP), Connie Peterson's Loving Care Pet Sitting Services also works with finding stray dogs a new San Luis Obispo county home. All canine lovers know why dogs have a reputation as being man's best friend.

Saving an animal will not change the world, but it will change the world for that animal.

This is the first kitten we rescued last year during kitten season. I do a lot of cat rescue, especially during kitten season. Then trapping and spaying ferals so we don't have that problem. At our local shelter 2/3 of the cats come from paso and out of 3,000 cats at the shelter 1800 were put to sleep. We have a big problem in this area. We only adopt out cats and kittens through Cal Poly Cat Program. Stray dogs are sent through the proper channels to either find their owner or re-home them through an organization that specializes in dog adoptions.
